There are no quick fixes in dog training. Good training takes trust, time, consistency, repetition, and relationship. We don't rely on gimmicks or quick fixes. Our behavior modification programs , puppy programs, and adult dog training programs are so successful because of our whole dog philosophy. Our board and train programs are based on progress, not time.

We believe in teaching the dog how to learn and how to make good choices. Eventually, as the dog has a more thorough education and an understanding of the behaviors we believe in thoughtful and fair consequences so training is not only fun for you and your dog but also extremely reliable under any type of distraction! When training cuts corners or the dog is taught exclusively through the use of force the dog never learns how to make the correct choices and the training tends to fall apart quickly. Unbalanced training on either side of the spectrum leads to an unbalanced dog. We believe in a relationship based approach that concentrates on developing solid understandings between dogs and their owners. The majority of our programs are board and train based, meaning the dog will be staying with the trainers for at least some of the program. However, our board and train programs differ from other training programs because we don't just focus on the dog.

Having ONLY the dog trained may be a bit less expensive or seem easier, the results won't last in the long run. Dogs are not robots or computers, they cannot just be programmed and sent on their way with the expectation that they will always be perfect in their performance. Good training takes input from you. Desirable behavior needs to be reinforced and undesirable behavior needs to have consequences.
Our goal is to teach you how to more effectively and efficiently communicate your needs and expectations to your dog. Of course, it will be easier because we have effectively taught your dog a new "language" while in camp with us. Now we teach you that same language.
By the time he or she leaves our home for your's, you will have a better understanding of your dog and a more effective way to communicate with him or her so that the training we have done will last a lifetime. Our programs are an investment for you and your dog's future.
